Mike Mann’s domain business just scored again with the domain sale of JamesGregory.com for $19,888 from his domain marketplace aptly named DomainMarket.com
Mike announced the sale on Facebook.com where he often discussed his domain name sales and thoughts, So I wonder which James Gregory bought the domain name…
Could it be James Gregory the Comedian? I am sure we will find out soon enough the domain name has been registered since 1996 and Mike’s company purchased in 2012 holding the domain for a little over 5 and half years before selling yesterday.
Lets assume Mike paid $9 for his renewals @ 6 years – $54 + $36 acquisition cost – Total investment of $90 has returned Mike approx $19,798 in profit – 21,997% ROI not bad for a few days work but don’t forget Mikes company Domain Market owns hundreds of thousands of domains and needs to pay renewals every year so Mike needs these sales to help with the day to day running costs.
Congrats to Mike & to the new owner of JamesGregory.com and if it is the comedian here is one of his video clips courtesy of YouTube.com
