I think as a domain community while we are often competing with one another we should also share our tips and tricks that we use in our hunt for domain name gems?

I primarily use two free services when I am searching for available domains to register. Some of these domains were previously registered and missed by the drop catchers using their algorithms, while some might disagree and not Hand Register Dot Com domains, I still believe there are good domains out there to grab with traffic potential and work perfectly for lead generation or minisites – Yes minisites can still provide revenue if you do right.

So these are my two tolls for finding domains – ExpiredDomains.net & DomainScope.com what do you use to hunt for domain gold?

If I want to check historical whois for FREE then I will also use – DnsTrails.com, They don’t have all the records but do have tons of free data, so you can figure out who owned the domain before, was it parked or developed etc.

Once I find the domain, I then register it using NameSilo.com as the Dot Com prices are pretty solid @ $6.99 and $5.99 if you use my coupon code below.

So what are using to hunt for domain gold, why not leave a comment a below and share with domain community.
